Sefadzi Abena Amesu known in Showbiz circles as S3fa is currently one of Ghana’s most revered female songstresses.
She’s an Afrobeats, soul, highlife & R&B performing artist as well as a song writer. Soon after the singer signed on to the Black Avenue Muzik label in 2018, she broke onto the scene with 4 single releases ‘Marry Me’, Odo Yewu & Pepper ft. Bisa Kdei before her number 1 hit record ‘Shuga’ featuring Dope Nation in July 2019 off her ‘Growth’ EP released in 2020.
The 25 year old Sefa’s love for music fuelled her rise to stardom. The half voltarian ,half northerner young star had always been passionate about music since she was a child. She sang in church choirs pressured by her mother even when she didn't know she had a voice. She studied at the Accra High School and up with both parents and her siblings in Accra, Ghana.
Sefa has recorded with numerous African acts including D-Black, Bisa Kdei, EL, Sarkodie, Sista Afia, Fameye, Dope Nation, Mr. Drew, Kofi Jamar, Jupitar, Camidoh, Wendy Shay, Camidoh, Dope Nation from Ghana . She’s also worked with Praiz, Fioke & Patoranking from Nigeria as well as Dj Tira from South Africa.
In 2021 Sefa topped the charts again nationwide with her smash hit ‘E Choke’ featuring Mr. Drew which went number one in every region of the country. Sefa followed with another Rony Turn Me Up smash featuring Sarkodie and Dj Tira as she readies her her yet to be titled 2022 album. Nominated for Woman of the Year, Afrobeats Artist of the Year, Song of the Year plus 4 more nods at the 3 Music Awards, Sefa is currently Ghana’s most sought after songstress.
